What is a Tea Ceremony
Traditionally a Vietnamese Tea Ceremony is for the groom to ask the bride’s family for her hand in marriage and celebrate the union of the two families.
While we will not be participating in the full ceremony, we still wanted to incorporate this tradition. Where we (The Bride and Groom) will be serving and sharing a cup of tea with our parents to start off our ceremony. After family members can also take this time to share gifts and kind words of encouragement to the couple.
We’re excited to share this traditions with those familiar and unfamiliar to it. And a few other surprises throughout the night.
Parking at Venue
Our wedding venue is on the rooftop of our apartment building. Parking is limited to street parking only. We highly encourage everyone to carpool or to take a rideshare to and from the venue. For those that decide to drive please arrive 30 minutes before ceremony to give yourself enough time to find parking and get to the rooftop.
Directions to Rooftop
Directions will be posted day before Wedding Day.
Can I bring kids or a plus one?
We love your little ones and your favorite people but due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thanks so much for understanding!
Is the celebration indoors or outdoors?
We’ll be celebrating outdoors, we suggest bringing a light layer like a jacket or shawl—it might get cool in the evening!
